DEFINITELY NOT What they appear to be

I thought Lens.com would be a company I could trust with supplying my lenses. However, they are obscure in their pricing. My lenses basically cost $56.24/box. GREAT price right? I ordered two boxes and the total amounted to over $177!! when I inquired as to why the total was so high, they THEN explain the $55.48 "Processing fee"!! A few cents less than one box of lenses... I was incensed... However, that fee is not apparent on the payment page. If you don't click the barely visible icon next to the subtotal you'll never know they're charging this fee. The "rebate" is another story altogether. After having to mutilate my lens box to send in the labels, it takes MONTHS for them to send a $35 prepaid Visa card. In conclusion: I don't do business with companies that charge hidden fees. I would rather go blind than to use this company ever again.

I bought contact lenses from Lens.com…

I bought contact lenses from Lens.com three times. I received a rebate visa card within a few weeks for my 1st purchase. However, it took seven months for my 2nd and 3rd purchase in 2021. I was not happy as others write here, but I eventually received visa cards.

Ordered 4 boxes of contacts in April

Ordered 4 boxes of contacts in April, was charged over 150.00 in taxes and processing fess which I did not catch until after I paid and saw the fee on my bank statement. They arrived less than a week later. I mailed my info for a rebate in. Here we are mid September and still no rebate. Total scam.

Buyer beware

I wish I had read some of these reviews. Just placed an order that should have cost less than $450 but they are charging $599 which includes “taxes and fees.” The $450 already included taxes for both orders. The two rebates of $95 and $135 is a joke and will take another nine months just like the prior time. Total scammers. They are saying the $120 for “taxes and fees” is the cost associated with servicing the order. Complete scam.

Limited functionality - be prepared to be on the phone

I have generally managed to get what I needed to from Lens.com, lenses generally appear to be a little cheaper. The reason for the two stars is the limited website functionality and the fact that every few orders, I seem to need to get on the phone with the team to fix something. Issues as simple as changing a credit card on an order involve 30 min on the phone instead of a simple update on the website. They seem to want you to call in for almost anything instead of getting their site updated.

Rebates are a scam

I understand the business model behind the rebates, but when you don't fulfill them within a reasonable amount of time, it becomes fraud (my opinion). I made a purchase in Jan. 2022 and haven't received my rebate yet (Sept). I gave lens.com the option of crediting the $150 rebate amount to my payment used for the purchase, and they declined. Unfortunately, I'll have to turn the issue over to my bank to get it resolved.

Rebate offer are just clickbait.

The rebate offer is just clickbait. Finalized my order about 8 month ago and haven't received a penny. Customer service is telling me it is due to covid and this and that, only excuses. Don't buy here, it is cheaper anywhere else and you are just hooked with a promise of a 160$ rebate. Lesson learned.

Total RIPOFF. AVOID AT ANY COSE!

Total RIPOFF. Shows Acuvue Oasys with Astigmatism price for 4 boxes @ 14.49/box (after rebate). Should be less than $60 BEFORE shipping and taxes. I fill out all the information and go to the final checkout screen and the total AFTER rebate jumps to $152.87. No additional breakdown provided. I also contact customer service through chat, and they were utterly useless and just told me what I saw on the screen without any explanation

No rebate, bad contacts

Contacts were low quality and it has been almost half a year and still no rebate. Their website is extremely dishonest and their customer service wouldn't even respond to some of my messages.

They are a scam, their strategy is to reject your rebate forms until the time runs out. Dishonest company, when I called them, their agent said 'ok'. Literally just 'ok' to all my questions. What is the status of my repair- ok, why have you rejected the rebate- ok, what should I resend -ok, I won't order from you- ok. Ridiculous!

Yeah, the contacts are of decent quality. The only concern is the company business practices. You don't just buy contacts at Lens.com but you get to play games as well. That's right they overcharge for the contacts and ask you to jump through various hoops in order to get the money back. It's a long process that is dragged out over many months. It's tiring, frustrating and in the end petty. If you have time to waste, I suppose it is an option. If not, find another provider.

No way of knowing if they're legit. In case of Lens.com this is irrelevant because they will ship 1 order in 3 and keep the money. This site is a major consumer fraud and they should be closed. I don't understand how they manage to stay in "business".
